RAW MATERIALS QUALITY CONTROL

there are width range of test on raw material to reach the standard GRP pipe with constant quality. some of these tests are mention as below:

QUALITY CONTROL ON FINISHED PRODUCTS

  • Ultimate Tensile Strength, Unit Modulus and Shear Strength According BS 4994
  • Visual inspection of cut out pieces According ASTM D 2563 II
  • Resin / Glass Percentage According ASTM D 2584
  • Final Thickness and Dimension Measurement According Construction Specification
  • Stiffness test According BS 5480
  • Barcol Hardness According BS 2782 or ASTM D 2583
  • Pressure hydro-testAccording BS 5480 and client requirements
  • Different Long Term test in physical & chemical factores to determine production performance
